Mobile Car Servicing

As part of our mobile mechanic services, we offer multiple types of servicing for your car, such as an interim service, which includes oil and filter replacement and a multi-point visual inspection of your vehicle from cabin to brakes, tyres and suspension, checking lights, your wiper system and seat belts. Our major and full car servicing includes oil filter, air filter, pollen filter, fuel filter, spark plugs and replacement oil, with a full component inspection of the vehicle to check for play at ball joints and any defects with the suspension, brakes, exhaust and most major components, and of course also checking seat belts, exterior lights and the wiper system.

Whether you need an interim, full or major service, we carry out car servicing at home in Coventry, Nuneaton, Warwick and the surrounding areas, on vans as well as cars, and we stamp your service book when we finish.

Mobile Clutch Repairs

We aim to replace your clutch within the same day at your premises of choosing. We tend to do mostly compact small cars, due to most bigger vehicles having subframes needing removal to gain access to the clutch after the gearbox has been removed. We can offer replacement clutches and gearboxes on bigger vehicles, but this is dependent on workload due to the time spent on bigger vehicles. We aim to remove your old clutch and clean the gearbox of any dust or build-up of clutch material, replace the release bearing and other components required at the same time, depending on our customers' needs (for example a dual mass flywheel or concentric slave cylinder), and bleed the clutch system with fresh fluid.

Mobile Brake Fitting

We replace brake pads and discs, and we also replace brake drums and shoes, wheel cylinders and handbrake cables, and repair or replace damaged or corroded brake lines. We also offer full brake system bleeds, as manufacturers require this to be done every 2 years. We diagnose braking issues from squeaking brakes to seized calipers or cylinders, and MOT fails we are able to rectify at the roadside. We use fresh copper pipe with the correct unions for brake pipe replacement, and rubber flexi hoses where required if damaged.

Exhaust Replacement

We repair exhausts depending on what section is broken or damaged, with new pipe, as we do not carry a welder with us, so replacement parts would have new clamps, gaskets or flanges with new bolts added into the section, or a full exhaust if required. We also replace Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) and catalytic converters upon failure or at the end of their serviceable lives, and are also able to replace NOx or lambda sensors as required, and most other exhaust components down to the rubber hangers.

Mobile Car Diagnostics

We carry out engine diagnostics work when your engine light comes on or your car is running poorly and not performing the way it's supposed to. We also attend non-running vehicles to diagnose and repair the vehicle once the fault has been identified, and any knocking or banging coming from the suspension we will diagnose and fault find.

After carrying out diagnostics work and finding the root cause of the engine fault, be it electrical or mechanical, we aim to get to the bottom of it within a short period, be it a replacement alternator or water pump or a damaged pulley. We can repair most components of your engine at the roadside: fuel injectors or injector seal replacement, fuel rails, high pressure pumps and in-tank pumps, any faulty or defective sensors, and cooling system faults, radiators and thermostats.

Mobile Engine Fault Repairs

We attend non-starting vehicles, engine warning lights and poor-running diagnostics across Coventry and Warwickshire. Once the fault is identified, we aim to repair it the same visit where parts allow.

Mobile Timing Belt Replacement

We cover a vast variety of timing belt replacements on VW, Ford, Peugeot, Citroën and many other domestic vehicles and vans, as we have replaced many timing belts in our past experience working in independent workshops. Replacement of a timing belt is a critical service repair which should be done as part of maintaining a regular servicing schedule. It plays a major part in keeping your car's engine running in time and, if not changed at the correct interval, can cause catastrophic damage to your engine. If missed, in many cases this results in a replacement engine or scrapping of your car, due to the engine replacement or repair costs being higher than the value of your car. Most cars have what's called an interference engine, so when the belt breaks the pistons and valves collide, causing in most cases irreparable damage, since the repair costs are simply not economically viable.

One of the most common issues facing car owners, especially those with slightly older or classic models, is a car battery dying on you. For older cars that aren't driven around much, it is a much more common occurrence. Fortunately, for most makes and models, coming out and replacing your car battery should be a relatively simple process for us, but there are some makes and models of cars that have made this a trickier affair.
